Quarterly bookkeeping
Accounts reconciled, the quarter closed, GST prepared, and statements you can act on before the year is over.
Bookkeeping
We keep books on a quarterly or annual cycle. What we do not take on is daily-touch bookkeeping — if someone needs to be in the file every day, that person belongs inside your business.
Accounts reconciled, the quarter closed, GST prepared, and statements you can act on before the year is over.
A full year brought into order ahead of the year end and the T2, for businesses whose volume does not justify closing more often.
Every account reconciled to the statement, not merely connected to a bank feed. A feed brings transactions in; reconciliation is what proves the balance.
Books months or years behind. Scoped and priced separately, because the size of the cleanup is not knowable until we look at the file.
GST is tied to the books, significant balances are reviewed, and the file is organized so the corporate year end does not begin with avoidable cleanup.
Owner advances, reimbursements and draws are tracked through the appropriate accounts so the year end is not the first time anyone works out what happened.
We work in both. The subscription stays in your name, so you keep access to your own records if you ever change accountants.
We do not offer daily-touch bookkeeping. If someone needs to code transactions, chase invoices and match deposits every day, an in-house bookkeeper is usually the better fit. Managed accounts payable is the exception because payables run continuously.
Need the system itself cleaned up? See QuickBooks & Xero setup. Need invoices handled continuously? See managed accounts payable.
For many owner-managed businesses, quarterly or annual work provides the accounting needed for GST and year end without paying for a monthly close that is not being used for management decisions. If your business needs daily attention, we will tell you that.
Yes. We can handle the corporate year end and tax while your team keeps the day-to-day books. We can also help set up a close process so the handoff is cleaner.
Yes. Catch-up work is quoted after we review the file because the amount of cleanup can vary substantially from one business to another.
Thirty minutes, no charge, and a straight answer on whether we're the right fit — including when we're not. You'll have the scope and the fee in writing before any work starts.
